What’s the stopping distance
Brakes are cheaper than the transmission!!! But good advise!
Semi-metallic must be a non-starter for electric cars then, considering their regenerative braking takes up most of the heavy over-time braking down hills etc.? Saves a lot of braking..
(Ofc. amount of regen braking depends on make and vehicle, but Teslas, Nissan Leafs in B-Eco mode etc. have great regen braking. For Twizy’s it’s recommended to get OVMS to increase regen braking with tuning, need to change Sevcon/motorcontroller if 2016-> tho)
